The Gathering

You’re Invited

Every year, we bring together a crew of curious, committed humans. People who care deeply about how they show up in the world, both personally and professionally.

It’s part retreat, part workshop, part exploration, part reset.

Over three days, we blend embodiment practices with practical tools for life and work. Sessions might range from designing better systems of government to harnessing AI responsibly, from navigating climate action to parenting with presence. Some conversations are structured. Others emerge in the sauna or around the fire.

We move between the practical and the esoteric, between stillness and movement, between depth and play. It’s designed to stretch you, centre you, and connect you, with yourself and with others who care.

Awareness

This year’s theme is awareness. Awareness of self, of others, of the systems we move through. We’ll explore what it means to lead and live from a place of deep presence - not just intellectual awareness, but embodied, felt awareness. Through the lens of Ongoing Theory, we’ll treat this Gathering as a living experiment: How do we show up more fully? How do we make decisions from centre, not from noise? How do we build lives, businesses, and communities that feel aligned from the inside out?

The Details

Location: Kula Retreat, Muriwai

Dates: 26 – 28 July 2025

Timings:

+ Arrive 1pm 26th - hard start at 2pm

+ Leave Kula around 11am the 28th, followed by an optional birthday adventure with Ben

+ You are welcome to leave early on Monday the 28th if you need to get back for work

Cost: $1,200 per person

All inclusive: food, accommodation, activities

  • Are you coming single or with a partner (first in first served for the partner rooms)

  • What dietaries do you have?

  • Where are you coming from and do you need a ride from Auckland city or the airport?

  • Any other questions you have.

+ Book it in your calendar and book flights if required:

  • Beginning at 2pm (no later!) on the 26th

  • Wrapped around 11am on the 28th

+ Organise transport. There will be a shared doc to help organise car pooling closer to the date.

+ Pay the invoice that you will get sent.

+ Think about topics that you would love to explore.
