Alignment offsite

A one-day offsite to reset your team, refine your direction, and realign around what matters.

Group of people socializing in a modern kitchen with a blue island, hanging pendant lights, and greenery, while seating areas are visible in the warm, cozy home.
People collaborating at a whiteboard covered with colorful sticky notes in a modern office.
Group of women participating in a meditation or yoga session in a sunlit room with tall windows, sitting on mats and cushions.
Group of people sitting on a white sofa, engaged in a discussion in a modern living room with high ceiling, hanging lights, Plants, and a whiteboard with notes.

What it is:

The Alignment Offsite is a one-day, high-impact experience designed to bring your team back into sync - intellectually, culturally, and operationally.

It blends clear-headed strategy with embodied experiences in a beautiful location that gets people out of their day-to-day fog and into real, meaningful momentum.

Why now?

Most teams are misfiring, and not because they’re not talented.

They’re overwhelmed, misaligned, and stretched thin. Hybrid working has blurred boundaries, fractured communication, and frayed culture. Leadership is reactive. Strategy feels disjointed. And even high-performing teams are stuck in cycles of burnout, overthinking, and under-connecting.

This offsite is built to fix that.

What happens

We guide your team through strategic mapping sessions, real-time diagnostics to uncover misalignments, and a series of honest (but non-cringey) exercises that strengthen connection and clarity. The experience balances focused, outcome-driven workshops with space to breathe - both mentally and physically. We close with practical integration plans to ensure the alignment lasts well beyond the offsite. No death-by-PowerPoint, no awkward trust falls. Just a sharp, energising, and genuinely enjoyable experience with long term results.

The approach

We explore your teams challenges through the lens of The Alignment Theory. We believe organisations also have a mind, body and spirit. If we align them individually and collectively, we will get you firing on all cylinders.

Mind = Systems, Processes, office work

Body = Working environment, physical work

Spirit = Culture, meaning, connection (internal & external)

Who it’s for

This is for leaders who:

+ Leadership and executive teams navigating change, growth, or strategic reset or recalibration.

+ Co-founders who want to realign vision and clarify roles

+ Project or business units that feel siloed, misaligned, or burnt out

+ Organisations scaling fast and needing to embed culture to grow

+ Remote Teams who need to come together to regroup and align

Your lead facilitator

Ben Forman is a facilitator, founder, and creative entrepreneur working at the intersection of business, creativity, and wellbeing.

Over the past decade, he’s launched multiple businesses, raised and lost capital, built brands and cultures, and led high-performing teams through moments of growth and transformation. He’s sat on the board of TVNZ, advised early-stage startups, and was named one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 for his work in advertising.

But what makes Ben’s facilitation unique isn’t just the experience - it’s the integration. For the past five years, he’s explored how to bridge the gap between being and doing. How presence, embodiment, and self-awareness can unlock more connected leadership, healthier teams, and smarter decisions.

Ben’s facilitation style is grounded, intuitive, and energising. He creates safe, spacious environments where real conversation can happen, combining strategic thinking with somatic tools, storytelling, and a good sense of humour. Whether it’s a leadership offsite, cultural reset, or values alignment session, he helps groups slow down, tune in, and move forward with clarity.

A powerful network

We work with a diverse network of collaborators, strategically drawing on their expertise depending on the challenge at hand. From entrepreneurs and therapists to specialists in employee experience and sustainability, the Ongoing Theory network brings a deep well of knowledge we can leverage to tackle complexity, unlock new perspectives, and support meaningful change.

Ben does an amazing job of making the effortful effortless. Events that are both social and personal, life-changing and light-hearted, are not easy to orchestrate but Ben does an incredible job of guiding a group through it. He is a creator of experiences, places, and ideas.
